Stanford Graduate School of Business
The Stanford Graduate School of Business is composed of three academic buildings situated across the street from Stanford's historic main quad. The School is part of the Stanford University 8,000-acre campus, located in the heart of Silicon Valley, between San Francisco and San Jose, California.

The Stanford Graduate School of Business mission is to create ideas that advance the understanding of management and to develop innovative, principled, and insightful leaders who change the world.

The school holds an international reputation as a leader in management education. This status was built on the world-class academic faculty members who provide cutting edge research and course development.

Classes are conducted on a full-time residential basis only in an intimate-scale setting. Due to the small class size, the School can bring participatory learning experiences to all MBA students. Moreover, courses draw on an assortment of methods custom tailored to the material in order to give students the ultimate learning environment.

Due to the fact, that the Business School is part of the greater university, the School's multidisciplinary approach allows Business School students to increase their intellectual environment into other disciplines and draws graduate students from different departments of the campus.

Currently, the Business School has 31 courses cross-listed with other schools and departments at the university and offers joint degrees with the schools of Law and Education. Furthermore, the Business School approved changes in class scheduling to make it easier for students to enroll in both management and other university courses.
